Working primarily in oil, René blends classical technique with contemporary sensitivity, using color, light, and composition to create evocative, pared-down scenes. Whether capturing a windswept landscape, a solitary figure, or a fleeting expression, René’s paintings celebrate simplicity while inviting introspection. Inspired by the raw beauty of the natural world, his work carries a sense of stillness and emotional depth—aiming to offer viewers a moment of calm in a busy world. René's most recent project was a residency at Indiana Dunes National Park, where he spent time creating landscape studies and deepening his connection to the natural environment that continues to inspire his work. Como una pintura, nos iremos borrando.Como una flor, nos iremos secandoaquí sobre la tierra.
